Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Duration: 15 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Required License: Client License Required in Hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC Charting Experience Required - Must be over a 75-mile radius from the facility Description: Seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have robust clinical experience in a critical care environment. The role requires comprehensive management of patients with severe conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and more. In this position, the nurse will care for a maximum of two patients, with occasional one-on-one care as needed based on patient acuity. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, as well as care for patients on ventilators, is essential. This role includes responsibilities for arterial and central line management. Nurses will also engage in continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. A thorough understanding of monitoring and managing multi-system organ dysfunction is required. Experience with CRRT, ECMO, IABP, and Impella is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
