Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Nights

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and comprehensive patient care across a 21-bed unit
- Support post-operative surgical patients, bariatric patients, and oncology patients as part of a general Med Surg service line
- Perform remote telemetry monitoring in coordination with a monitor technician, overseeing rhythm interpretation and post-operative patient status
- Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum
- Float to Med Surg Telemetry unit as needed
- Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or a compact state
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with post-operative surgical, bariatric, or oncology patient populations
- Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and rhythm interpretation
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume acute care environment
