    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Nights

    Location

    Wilkes-Barre, PA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and comprehensive patient care across a 21-bed unit
    • Support post-operative surgical patients, bariatric patients, and oncology patients as part of a general Med Surg service line
    • Perform remote telemetry monitoring in coordination with a monitor technician, overseeing rhythm interpretation and post-operative patient status
    • Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum
    • Float to Med Surg Telemetry unit as needed
    • Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or a compact state
    • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
    • Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience required
    • Telemetry experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with post-operative surgical, bariatric, or oncology patient populations
    • Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and rhythm interpretation
    • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume acute care environment
