Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns and respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
- Fulfill rotating weekend and holiday coverage requirements on an every-other basis
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts per week
- Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of NICU nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal patient populations and intensive care protocols
