    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

    Location

    Wilkes-Barre, PA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and comprehensive patient care on a 21-bed unit serving General Med Surg, Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, and Oncology patients
    • Perform remote telemetry monitoring in collaboration with a monitor technician, including rhythm interpretation and oversight
    • Deliver post-operative patient care in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
    • Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum
    • Float to Med Surg Telemetry unit as needed
    • Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 1–2+ years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
    • Minimum 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required
    • Telemetry experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, or Oncology patient populations
    • Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and rhythm interpretation
    • Strong adaptability and ability to float between Med Surg and Telemetry units
