Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and comprehensive patient care on a 21-bed unit serving General Med Surg, Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, and Oncology patients
- Perform remote telemetry monitoring in collaboration with a monitor technician, including rhythm interpretation and oversight
- Deliver post-operative patient care in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
- Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum
- Float to Med Surg Telemetry unit as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1–2+ years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Minimum 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, or Oncology patient populations
- Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and rhythm interpretation
- Strong adaptability and ability to float between Med Surg and Telemetry units
