    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Quincy, Illinois, 62301!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Quincy, IL | Inpatient Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Three shifts per week starting at 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday) | Holiday rotation with core staff

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced 48-bed inpatient Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit utilizing a primary care nursing model
    • Manage a diverse surgical patient population including post-operative total joint replacements, neuro-surgical cases, ostomies, hernia repairs, vascular procedures, and dialysis patients
    • Administer and monitor PCA pumps, epidurals, TPN/Lipids, IV antibiotics, and narcotic medications; administer reversal agents such as Narcan as needed
    • Titrate heparin drips per protocol and manage sepsis patients; respond to urgent OR cases as they arise
    • Interpret telemetry strips using Draeger monitoring equipment in collaboration with on-unit telemetry monitor technicians
    • Maintain current BLS and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of surgical nursing experience required
    • Total joint replacement experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • EPIC EMR experience required — facility is undergoing an EPIC conversion in Q2 2026
    • Local clinicians are welcome to apply
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing TPN, Lipids, and PICC lines
    • Familiarity with heparin titration protocols and sepsis management
    • Comfort working with chronic pain patients and narcotic administration protocols
    • Experience with telemetry strip interpretation
