    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Projected Start: July 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) unit serving a diverse acute patient population including respiratory, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, and acute-on-chronic medical conditions
    • Monitor, read, and interpret telemetry strips and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
    • Operate and manage specialized equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, IV pumps, PCA pumps, epidural pumps, VAC dressings, and specialty beds
    • Perform tracheostomy care and maintenance as required by patient acuity
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using an Epic EMR system
    • Float to other IMC or medical/surgical units of similar level of care based on unit need and skill set
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry or Intermediate Care nursing
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care and telemetry strip interpretation
    • Ventilator experience required for IMC-level assignments
    • Completion of required facility onboarding education modules upon hire
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an Intermediate Care or step-down unit setting
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR
    • Experience caring for respiratory failure, sepsis, or surgical patient populations
