Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Portland, ME. This position is perfect for dedicated nurses looking to work weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday, on the night shift. You will be part of a dynamic team providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Information:

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Medical Telemetry, IMC
• Shift: 19:00-07:30 (WEEKENDS)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: None
• Years of Experience: 1-2 minimum
• Float Requirements: IMC RNs may float to another IMC level of care unit within the facility as needed.

Education & Certifications Required:

• BLS Certification
• MMC mandatory onboarding education

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 43
• Patient Ratios: Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1
• Equipment: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, IV pumps, specialty beds, and more
• EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Vent experience for IMC RNs, experience with tracheostomies, and telemetry strip interpretation.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with respiratory, medical telemetry, surgical patients, sepsis, DKA, and altered mental status.
• Personality Fit: Teamwork, flexibility, good communication, and patient-centered care.
