    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans under the direction of a licensed physician, utilizing the nursing process
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care on a primarily surgical unit
    • Provide care for post-operative patients, including those recovering from orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and general surgical procedures
    • Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies
    • Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Participate in holiday rotation, including one holiday eve (Christmas or New Year's Eve) and one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) based on unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License required, or Multi-State Compact RN License
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or related clinical specialty
    • Experience with post-operative patient populations including orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and general surgery
