Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact eligibility, if applicable
• Recent EPIC experience required
• Strong cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and acute care nursing skills
• Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med-Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Maintain compliance with weekend, holiday, and scheduling expectations as needed by the unit
