    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with potential float to all MS floors, rehab, and OB (as helping hands)
    • Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac disease, stroke, CHF, joint replacements, peritoneal dialysis, respiratory, and occasional stable post-open heart surgery patients transferred from ICU
    • Participate in observation and fast-turnaround patient assignments
    • Collaborate with program coordinators (e.g., CHF and Stroke) to support high-quality patient education and outcomes
    • May care for COVID-positive patients as needed
    • Complete required pre-start modules prior to first day; orientation is limited to 1 day before taking independent assignments
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted RN license (no license hits accepted)
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
    • ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
    • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
    • EPIC electronic health record experience required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler compensation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Strong EPIC charting proficiency highly preferred
    • Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient populations
    • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam within 72 hours of contract signing
