Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as required
- Fulfill on-call obligations as needed; on-call requirements are rare and limited to the first 4 hours when applicable
- Float within scope to like units or sister facilities to meet staffing needs as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (candidates with a pending SC license may be considered with proof of application)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Epic electronic health records experience required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
