    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
    • Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
    • Administer medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and pass required medication competency assessments during orientation
    • Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet operational needs of the facility
    • Participate in holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday
    • Complete all required annual hands-on competency training and pre-start modules as directed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
    • Active ACLS certification required
    • Active NIHSS certification required
    • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty background is preferred, though not required
    • Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and acute care environments
