    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13–18 Week Assignments

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
    • Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
    • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility standards, as assessed via orientation competencies
    • Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet operational needs of the facility
    • Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility
    • Complete all required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, with an acceptable score
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
    • Active ACLS certification required
    • Active NIHSS certification required
    • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty experience, though combined experience across locations may be considered
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic or health system environment
