Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float – Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating schedule with every other weekend; holidays as applicable to operations. 4x12 schedule available.

- Float across multiple Med/Surg specialties including cardiac telemetry, spine, neuro stepdown, and oncology units
- Care for complex medical and surgical patient populations with intermediate care (IMC) acuity
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Patient ratios: 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends
- 24 hours of orientation provided; strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, PT, and respiratory services
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or current Compact license
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in medical/surgical telemetry
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Experience working in different Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro specialties
- Epic charting system experience required
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills with ability to pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score required; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms and 3rd degree heart blocks)
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Willingness to float to neuro and oncology units as assigned
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
