Job Opportunity – Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: December 14, 2026
Location: Leawood, Kansas

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend; 48-hour guarantee preferred

- 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit with 4:1-5:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Patient population includes renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general medical-surgical cases
- Documentation via Meditech EBC platform with advanced equipment including EKG, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis
- Strong emphasis on safety, quality outcomes, and Hospital-Acquired Infection (HAI) prevention protocols
- Unencumbered charge nurse and dedicated clinical educator support on unit
- Facility recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center with Centers of Excellence in Colorectal, Bariatric, and Orthopedic care
- Known for advanced robotic surgical programs, including exclusive regional access to cutting-edge urology robotics
Requirements:
- Current Kansas RN license (or multistate compact license)
- ACLS, BLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications required
- Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong commitment to team collaboration and positive attitude
- Compliance with documentation standards and infection prevention protocols
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed (Ortho, Neuro, CCU, Observation, Rehab)
