Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend required, 48 hours guaranteed preferred

Highlights:

• 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit specializing in renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general medical-surgical patients
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1 with tech support and dedicated unencumbered charge nurse
• Meditech EBC documentation system with standard telemetry equipment including Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication management
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and documentation compliance related to central lines, foleys, and hospital-acquired infection prevention
• Floating to like units (Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Observation, Rehab) as needed
• Facility recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal Center of Excellence, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Orthopedic Certified facility

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN License (or compact/multistate license)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification required
• Medical telemetry nursing experience required
• Adherence to dress code: royal blue scrub tops with royal blue or black pants
