Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio

• 13 to 26-week contract lengths available with self-scheduling flexibility
• 24-hour orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, and Physical Therapy
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management
• Every other weekend requirement; floating may be required to main campus location

Requirements:

• Current North Carolina or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, wound care, blood product administration, and respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula)
• Experience with central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and colostomy/ileostomy care
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Availability to work holidays and participate in emergency response protocols including storm/hurricane teams
• Maximum 7 days of approved time off per contract period
