Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (days); weekend coverage supported by rotating on-call staff; 13 to 26 week assignment options available
Highlights:
- Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit specializing in adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratio of 4:1 with a daily census of approximately 15 patients
- Neurological experience required; complex wound care, tracheostomy management, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary team support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
- Contract lengths of 13 or 26 weeks available
- Paid orientation and pre-assignment module completion (up to 16 billable hours)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
- Neurological patient care experience required
- LTAC experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Must reside 100+ miles from facility location to qualify for travel assignment
