Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years MS/Tele experience required License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: LTAC experience preferred Description: This position is on an LTAC unit. Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing is necessary. Candidates should have complex wound care and interpretation of dysrhythmias skills. Experience in management of dysrhythmias is essential. Tracheostomy care and management is a requirement. Rotation of call between staff members occurs after 5 PM daily and on weekends. Travelers should have a minimum of 1 year of recent relevant experience. All travelers must be eligible to float to other units as required. Pre-assignment testing and completion of modules are required within 48 hours of receiving login information. Modules are billable and should be completed before starting the contract. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience with EPIC EMR. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for and have already demonstrated competency.
