Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in telemetry and neuro care, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure patient safety and appropriate care.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure a high standard of service.
  • Float to similar units as needed based on patient care demands.

Schedule

This position involves a schedule of 36 hours per week, including three 12-hour shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA.
  • Strong telemetry and neuro care experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Meditech software is preferred.
  • Previous travel experience in nursing is required.

Additional Information

A telemetry test will be administered on the first day of orientation to assess competency in monitoring and understanding telemetry data.
