Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)

We are seeking a qualified Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our float pool. This position offers the opportunity to work across various units, providing essential care to patients with a focus on telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry units, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Department (ED), specifically caring for med-surg boarders.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; demonstrate proficiency in telemetry nursing.
• Deliver patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between different units as needed, adjusting to varying patient care requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Significant telemetry experience is required.
• Ability to float across various units effectively.
• Must have been separated from previous employment with the organization for at least 6 months to be considered for this position.

Schedule

Full-time position with 12-hour rotating shifts, including both daytime and evening rotations, as well as every other weekend.
