Special Procedures/Unit Details: The M/S units work on the Care Delivery Model and use "teams" of 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT for up to 9 pt.'s. Most pt.'s are elderly and consist of diseases of respiratory, cardiac, GI systems, neuro.

Patient Diagnoses: This is a typical med/surg tele unit. Most pt.'s are elderly and consist of diseases of respiratory, cardiac, GI systems, neuro. Potential for ortho patients for overflow.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: The M/S units work on the Care Delivery Model and use "teams" of 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT for up to 9 pt.'s. We also use "modified teams" when complete teams are not available.

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
