• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Day/night rotation with every other weekend and holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Care Setting: Acute care Med/Surg Tele float pool

Job Requirements

• Active North Dakota RN license or compact state nursing license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
• Float pool or resource pool experience preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in a busy hospital environment with 200+ beds preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care setting
• Willingness to float across Med/Surg units and campuses as needed
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered with relevant resource pool experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and document findings accurately in Epic
• Administer medications through multiple routes safely and efficiently
• Develop and update care plans based on patient condition and clinical priorities
• Deliver wound, line, and drain care with attention to detail and infection prevention
• Use Epic and unit-based equipment to support timely, accurate charting and patient monitoring
• Float within the Med/Surg cluster and support overflow areas as assigned
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain strong patient flow and safe staffing coverage
• Adapt quickly to different Med/Surg specialty areas while maintaining excellent patient care standards
