Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required (AHA ONLY) Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This position involves evening and night shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotations will be based on operational needs. The candidate must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. BLS certification from AHA is mandatory. Candidates will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. The patient age groups in this unit include adults and geriatrics. Travelers are required to float as needed. Compliance with all educational and testing requirements is expected. Passing criteria for the telemetry exam will be clearly defined. Candidates must be prepared to submit proof of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course if needed.
