Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,300 per week in Columbus, OH

Schedule: Day/Night rotation; staffing ratio goal of 1:4 (may be 1:5); weekends variable based on unit needs; floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units; 36-bed unit

Highlights:

• Comprehensive solid tumor oncology care across the entire cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care
• Common patient diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus chemotherapy administration
• Epic EMR system with 72 hours of orientation provided
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety
• Access to interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Previous travel experience preferred

Requirements:

• Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (must be current within the last 12 months)
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Required skills: Telemetry interpretation and monitoring, accessing/managing ports, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line blood draw, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance, isolation precautions/PPE, tracheostomy care/management
• Epic charting system experience required
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
