Highlights:

• 36-bed medical oncology unit caring for patients with solid tumor cancers across the full continuum of care
• Comprehensive case mix including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus chemotherapy administration
• Epic EMR system with telemetry monitoring and interpretation required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; medical-surgical oncology background welcomed
• 72-hour orientation provided with interdisciplinary support from pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Previous travel experience preferred; local candidates accepted

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience (must be current and consistent within the last 12 months)
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Competency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring, IV starts and maintenance, blood product administration, central line management, isolation precautions, and accessing/managing ports
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required urgently upon contract signing
