Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio. Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Float within the organization as needed. Call coverage required.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact license or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, isolation precautions/PPE, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, use of rapid response/code teams
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Ability to float within the organization as needed
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
