Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with some weekend coverage (3-4 weekend days per month). 4:1 patient ratio. Floating required within the hospital system.
Highlights:
- Mixed medical-surgical and telemetry unit with 27 beds and transitional PCU capacity (PCU experience not required)
- Diverse patient population including general medical issues, organ failure, substance withdrawal, and behavioral health concerns
- 36-hour orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and social services
- Exposure to advanced procedures including chest tubes, PICC lines, paracentesis, IV therapy, and more
- First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of nursing experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of application)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
- Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV placement and maintenance, chest tube management, isolation precautions, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
- Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6 months or more to be eligible
