Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Nurse (PCU) – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Day/Night Rotating, 36 hours per week. Shifts assigned based on organizational needs with flexibility between day and night schedules. Every other weekend required. Float required within the facility system.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care surgical step-down unit with exposure to post-surgical overflow, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, and general medicine patients
• Progressive Care nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1, with efforts to maintain 3:1 staffing
• Epic EMR system experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 24-hour orientation provided to support successful transition to the unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population with telemetry monitoring experience essential

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Step-Down, or Intermediate Care nursing experience
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass facility Telemetry test and demonstrate telemetry monitoring experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
