Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and support individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and hospital standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout each shift
