Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Medicine Unit. This 27-bed unit provides comprehensive care for a diverse range of medical conditions affecting the respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems.

Position Details

  • Shift: Night shifts (4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00)
  • Hours: Available options for 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
  • Time Off: 40 hours of time off may be approved; however, time off around Christmas cannot be accommodated
  • Block Scheduling: Not available

Qualifications

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records system is required
  • Ability to adhere to float policies as required
  • Current Virginia nursing license pending submission accepted
