Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Overview

The General Medicine Unit consists of 27 beds, where clinicians provide care for a diverse range of disease processes affecting the respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems.

Work Schedule

  • Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Available hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
  • Block scheduling not available

Time Off Policy

  • 40 hours of time off can be approved
  • Time off around Christmas is not approved

Qualifications

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred, but not required
  • Must comply with float policy
  • EPIC experience required
  • Virginia nursing license pending submissions are acceptable
