TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: EKG exam required during onboarding Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit. The nurse will primarily care for medical-surgical patients. Travelers are required to float across various units as needed. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend shifts are expected. Holidays may be required based on unit needs. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with respiratory conditions and general medical-surgical diagnoses. Palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care will also be part of the patient population. Experience with psychiatric observation and management of diabetic patients is preferred. Previous charge nurse experience is beneficial. The nursing team supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare professionals. Routine assessments and management of medications will be crucial aspects of the role. It is essential to have experience using electronic medical records, specifically Epic. Candidates must pass an EKG compliance exam during the onboarding process. Travelers may be floated to different facilities as required. Candidates should be comfortable working with specific patient populations and delivering high-quality care. Compliance with health requirements, including vaccinations, is mandatory.
