The nurse will be responsible for pre-operative and post-operative care of orthopedic patients. The daily nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, with a possible stretch to 1:7. The nurse will use a charting system for documentation and must have experience with electronic medical records. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, and punctuality is expected. All nursing staff must comply with the required EKG exam. This position requires working with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and rapid response teams.
