This unit provides pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cath lab, electrophysiology lab, peripheral vascular lab, and interventional radiology procedures. The unit supports patients diagnosed for interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.

The department operates from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM with no weekends or holidays required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Candidates should understand the care of arterial and venous access patients, including radial and ulnar access. Knowledge of managing and monitoring hemostasis in these patients is necessary. Knowledge of femoral and radial arterial/venous access management is imperative. Special equipment used includes TR band, Femostop, and telemetry interpretation tools.
