Description:
This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
The department operates from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM with no weekends or holidays required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience in telemetry is essential.
Candidates should understand the care of arterial and venous access patients, including radial and ulnar access.
Knowledge of managing and monitoring hemostasis in these patients is necessary.
This unit provides pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cath lab, electrophysiology lab, peripheral vascular lab, and interventional radiology procedures.
Familiarity with same-day PCI patients is vital, as well as patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
The average daily census ranges from 25 to 32 patients.
The unit supports patients diagnosed for interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.
Knowledge of femoral and radial arterial/venous access management is imperative.
Special equipment used includes TR band, Femostop, and telemetry interpretation tools.
