Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (1900-0730), every other weekend required with potential for additional weekend coverage based on unit needs. Patient ratios 6:1 days, 7:1 nights/weekends. Float to similar units as needed.

Highlights:

• 30-bed unit serving adult and geriatric populations with general medical and pre/post-operative patients
• EPIC charting system (minimum 1 year EPIC experience required)
• Specialized procedures include post-heart catheterization care and bedside procedures such as dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage
• Omnicell medication management system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with blood product administration, central line management, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drips, and wound care
• Proficiency with accessing/managing ports, PICC lines, PCA pumps, pre/post hemodialysis management, and TR bands
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
