The unit also accommodates patients with higher acuity medical-surgical needs. There is a strong emphasis on providing an excellent patient experience. The nurse will be responsible for the care and management of patients with a variety of diagnoses, including stroke, seizure, respiratory failure, and acute kidney failure. Duties may include administering medication, managing complex care needs, and performing specialized procedures as required. Floating to other units may be necessary based on patient care needs and the nurse's skill set. Candidates must provide care in accordance with established protocols and maintain a focus on patient safety and quality care. Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in using medical technologies and adhering to care standards.
