```htmlJob Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Tennessee

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 18:45–07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend required. 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Flexible contract options available: 13 or 26 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Active Tennessee RN license required
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
  • Previous charge experience required
  • Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
  • Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
  • Willingness to float to other units based on clinical needs and demonstrated competencies

Clinical Experience Required:

  • Stroke/TIA, seizure disorders, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis (including peritoneal dialysis), acute kidney failure, post-cardiac catheterization care, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis
  • Competency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, continuous bladder irrigation, wound care, insulin administration, and isolation precautions
  • Experience with central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, chest tubes, PCA pumps, and high-flow nasal cannula preferred
