Schedule:

13-week contract assignment. Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. 12-hour shifts with 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. No call required.

Highlights:

• 30-bed neuro medical/surgical telemetry unit with experienced team of 60 staff members
• 1:5 patient ratio with strong support from CNCs, LVNs, and PCTs on every shift
• Modern equipment including virtual sitter technology, telepsych, teleneuro, and PCA pumps
• EMR: Meditech

• Navy scrubs provided; professional appearance standards maintained

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license
• BLS certification required
• NIH stroke scale certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Medical/surgical and telemetry experience
• Experience with stroke assessments (NIH), EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care preferred
