# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry – Texas
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: 13-week contract, Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 4 weekend shifts per schedule, No call required
Highlights:- 30-bed neuro medical/surgical telemetry unit with 1:5 patient ratios
- State-of-the-art equipment including CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, Teleneuro, PCA pumps, and Hoyer lifts
- EMR system: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated nursing support including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and unit coordinators on every shift

- Hands-on experience with stroke NIH protocols, EEGs, gastric decompression, and advanced wound care
Requirements:- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Med/Surg and telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Self-motivated with strong team collaboration skills
