# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry – TexasStart Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: 13-week contract, Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 4 weekend shifts per schedule, No call requiredHighlights:
  • 30-bed neuro medical/surgical telemetry unit with 1:5 patient ratios
  • State-of-the-art equipment including CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, Teleneuro, PCA pumps, and Hoyer lifts
  • EMR system: Meditech
  • Collaborative team environment with dedicated nursing support including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and unit coordinators on every shift
  • Award-winning team with multiple ICARE award recipients recognized for exceptional patient care
  • Hands-on experience with stroke NIH protocols, EEGs, gastric decompression, and advanced wound care
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Med/Surg and telemetry experience strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong team collaboration skills
