Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Neurology – North Carolina
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Coastal North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required (5-6 weekend shifts per contract period)

Requirements:
- Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
- Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Proficiency in IV placement and peripheral line management
- Neurology experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to float to other units as needed (travelers float first)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must be available to work during catastrophic events or disasters as part of emergency response protocols
