Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Macon, GA

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel opportunity in Macon, GA. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of MedSurg/Tele experience and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment. You will primarily care for patients with acute or chronic diseases, including those post-surgery or with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Provide care coordination with interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct patient education and discharge planning
  • Manage drips including insulin, heparin, Cardizem, among others
  • Perform trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts
  • Float to all Med/Tele units as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Strong assessment and time management skills
  • Experience with tele skills and post-cath management

Preferred:

  • ACLS certification
  • Certification in MedSurg
