RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Travel assignment in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing diverse patient types, including strokes and respiratory illnesses, and be adaptable to varying patient ratios. This opportunity is ideal for those with at least 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience, including first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the MedSurg/Tele unit
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
  • Perform wound care and manage drains/tubes
  • Start IVs and manage central lines

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Basic Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation
