RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Charlotte, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled RN with a background in MedSurg/Telemetry to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 18 months of experience and be comfortable working with diverse patient types in a fast-paced environment. This position is part of the Resource Team, requiring flexibility and the ability to float between units and possibly facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for MedSurg/Telemetry patients
  • Manage patient assignments across various units as needed
  • Perform critical nursing tasks such as IV starts, chest tube management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Support collaborative care with CNAs, receptionists, and charge nurses
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration with RTs and hospitalists
  • Float between defined regions and units as required

Qualifications

Required:

  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • General Med/Tele skillset: stroke experience, trach care, PIV starts, etc.

Preferred:

  • First-time travelers considered, but not preferred
