Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,025 per week in Charlotte, NC

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights: - Fast-paced 24-bed Intermediate Intensive Care Unit specializing in cardiac, medical/surgical, renal, bariatric, pulmonary, and trauma-related conditions- 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with focus on heart failure, post-procedural cardiac patients, and acutely decompensated conditions- Comprehensive case mix including post-cardiac cath, arterial/venous sheath management, vasoactive drip titration, high-flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and cardioversions- Epic charting system with 36-hour unit orientation- 20-week contract option available; some floating required to Cardiac Telemetry unit- Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, respiratory services, and lift teams Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience required- Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)- Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS preferred)- Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac cath care, post-cardiac/vascular surgical experience, peripheral line management, and non-invasive airway management- Epic charting experience required- Charge nurse experience and wound care/wound vac skills preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-acuity progressive care environment where you'll provide critical monitoring and intervention for diverse cardiac and medical-surgical patient populations.
