Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. This role requires proficiency in managing patients with complex GI surgeries and trauma overflow. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and adaptability to work within a resource team in a high-acuity care setting.

Assignment Details

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
  • Local Candidate Policy: Permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for complex GI surgical and trauma cases
  • Interpret basic cardiac rhythms and provide trach care
  • Manage PIV starts, chest tube management, and NGT placement
  • Administer medication gtts including Heparin, blood products, IVF, and cardiac drips

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Experience with general Med/Tele skillset

Preferred:

  • Not preferred but first-time travelers will be considered
