• Unit Environment: High-acuity, fast-paced surgical specialty Med/Surg setting
• Scheduling Notes: Every 3rd weekend and select Mondays/Fridays within the schedule period

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Strong post-operative care knowledge
• Comfort working in a high-paced clinical environment
• Experience with medical-surgical patients and common surgical recovery needs preferred
• Ability to float to similar medical-surgical and telemetry nursing areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and post-operative patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Perform and assist with common Med/Surg procedures and treatments
• Manage ostomies, drains, wound care, and enteral support as needed
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and supportive therapies safely
• Support Foley care, NGT management, and central line care
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to promote quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strong patient safety standards
