Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior inpatient acute care experience required
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge required
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Comfort with common medical-surgical procedures and patient care equipment
• NIHSS and BLS familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Perform and manage common procedures such as IVs, central lines, Foley catheters, NG tubes, drains, wound care, ostomy care, and chest tube management
• Support patient mobility and care using available equipment such as Hoyer and Sarah Steady lifts
• Document care accurately in the EMR and maintain strong clinical communication
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and other unit staff to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining a professional, team-oriented attitude
