Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the LTAC MS/Tele unit. This role requires a strong background in neuro care and an ability to provide high-quality patient support in a long-term acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the LTAC MS/Tele unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
  • Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certifications are required.
  • Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) is preferred.
  • Neurology experience is a must.

Work Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Shifts are typically 4x12 hours, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Weekend support will be provided through a rotating on-call schedule among a team of 6 to 8 staff members.

Contract Length

Options available for contract lengths between 13 to 26 weeks.
