Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC MS Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) specializing in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry. This role will primarily involve providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients on a day shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nursing care in an LTAC setting, focusing on medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Support the orientation and education of new staff and ongoing staff development.
  • Participate in patient and family education initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
  • Previous experience in an LTAC setting is preferred.
  • Neuro experience is required.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Willingness to undertake call responsibilities as part of a rotating schedule among staff.

Employment Terms

This position offers a contract option for 13 to 26 weeks. Candidates are expected to be adaptable, engaged, and committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.
